Answers to your SoWa Sundays questions:
Where is SoWa Sundays located?
We’re moving around a bit this year! The markets are located in the SoWa District of Boston’s South End. The SoWa Food and Produce Market will remain at 500 Harrison Ave, next to Rocca but is expanding to the back of the lot. The SoWa Open Market and the SoWa Vintage Market are on the Albany Street end of Thayer Street. The vintage market is inside 460C Harrison Ave, and the crafts market is in the adjacent lot.
When is SoWa Sundays?
We’re here every Sunday from May 16th through the end of October excluding May 30th, July 4th and September 5th (holiday weekends). Opening weekend, which coincides with SoWa Art Walk, May 15 + 16, is a special two-day event, and the markets will be open both Saturday and Sunday. The markets are also open both days of South End Open Studios: Saturday and Sunday, September 25 + 26.
What are the hours?
The Open Market and Antiques Market are open 10am to 4pm.
The Food & Produce Market is open 10am to 5pm
Many stores are open until 6pm and restaurants serve dinner until much later.
Can I bring my canine friend?
Of course you can! SoWa Sundays is an outdoor (rain or shine) event and all are welcome!
Where should I eat when I come to SoWa Sundays?
You should probably go to the Food & Produce Market @ 500 Harrison Ave.
If want more of a sit-down meal check out our Neighborhood Map which lists a bunch of restaurants. Restaurants are marked with pink stars, and you can click either image to enlarge it.
Where do I find information about becoming a vendor?
For artists and craftsters, you want to visit the Vendor Info page on the SoWa Open Market website.
Vintage and Antiques dealers should visit the SoWa Vintage Market website.
